We are seeking a talented designer to join the Product Development department of the fastest growing company in the tabletop industry. We are located in Northern New Jersey, one half hour from Manhattan. We are only seeking full time, onsite staff, and offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience, and full benefits.

The successful candidate will create and develop 3D CAD files from sketches and technical drawings, and then prepare those files for prototyping. They will interpret product designs from concept sketches. We are looking for a talented CAD person with an eye for design.

Cambridge Silversmiths is located in Fairfield NJ. This is an in office postion. Please only apply if you can work from Fairfield NJ.

We are looking for a person who can translate design concepts to technical drawing for our factories to use. 2D and 3D CAD modeling skills are essential (Vellum, Photoshop, Illustrator, Solidworks, Rhino and/or Alias). Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design and flatware production desirable (not required). Ideal designer will have a background in designing products for the manufacturing of metals, including sheet forming, metal casting, stamping, forging.
