Profile
Design Philosophy
I aim to merge ornament and function, two design concepts that are significant and not entirely unrelated. With my designs, I hope to elicit an emotional (and often sentimental) response. I want people to dote on my designs, not just because they are beautiful, but because they are functional as well.
Personal Bio
Just like most other designers, my love of stuff led me to me down this path. Ever since I was little, I was always curious about the type of things people owned and how that defined them. I believe that people surround themselves with things they love and this is why I am a designer.
My joys include filling my passport, eating good cheese on crusty bread, finding sweet old stuff, patterns and colors, and my cat Georgette. I enjoy subtlety, but could hardly be described as subtle. If next to a window, I will stare out of it, but don't worry, I'm paying attention.
