Joakim Jansson

My name is Joakim Jansson (27). I'm from Huskvarna in Sweden. Borned exactly 7 years before Andy Warhol died. Andy Warhol who later became an inspiration for me in my adolescent years. But what first triggered me to take on graphic design in the first place is, as for so many other today male 25-35 something designers: SKATEBOARDING.

I’ve studied design at Hyper Island - School of New Media Design in Karlskrona, Sweden. As a part of my education I did an 8 months long internship at Buck in Los Angeles, USA.

Since 2005 I live and work in Oslo. I currently work as an interactive designer at Making Waves. On my spare time I try to take on some interesting freelance work or work on my own t-shirt label Hello World.

My work have been published in numerous magazines and featured on websites. I’m a very passionate Liverpool FC supporter and a Jesus & Mary Chain fan.
