Jesse Sherburne is a Canadian born conceptual artist, designer and alternative marketing consultant. He trained in Art and Design at the University of Alberta and holds a Masters of Industrial Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction. In 1999, Sherburne launched his independent practice with his first full scale interior design project and has been creating contemporary design and art projects ever since. Sherburne has also worked as a Director of Design and Marketing for Nexopia.com as well as LightForm Inc. As head of the design and marketing departments, Sherburne oversaw the development of interior designs for showrooms, trade show booths and display settings, as well as brand image redevelopments, unique promotional materials and special event designs. Sherburne has recently launched his full time independent studio and maintains a busy schedule with a multitude of diverse projects. From Interior Designs, to artistic installations, furniture and accessory design, Sherburne’s work is hybridization of design, popular culture and art history which has consistently provided opportunities to connect with design and art in new and engaging ways.
