Hello
My name is Jose Macena, I'm a 27 years old Portuguese graphic designer slash illustrator living in Portugal for the moment.
I was born and raised in Portugal, went to university in Lisbon and worked in different Design Agencies after university with some freelance in between (for almost 3 years now). Alongside the graphic design job/skill, illustration & music, always took a great part in my work and life. Since my early days my eyes revolve around comics. Colour and movement. I guess that was the beginning. Later that passion evolved for books and magazines, leaving the comics for a more broad variety within the Design area.
Currently as a freelance but in search of a new project.
