A young designer from Bishop's Stortford and a graduate from Leeds University in Graphic and Communication Design. I am currently working for a marketing agency in London after freelancing for a variety of clients in Cairns and Sydney whilst traveling around Australia.

I have a variety of experience within design, advertising and print organisations, as well as running my own freelance projects. I have developed a strong skill set along with a hunger and desire to create exciting visual projects and print work.

I have experience working with photography, advertising campaigns, marketing promotion, icon design, illustration and editorial design from a variety of design briefs, as well as advertising and marketing material. I am also competent with pre-press and print production.

Here is my work from various briefs, some photography work, my own freelance work and general stuff that keeps my mind ticking.

My belief is that working closely with the client will always produce the most effective visual communication, and I am highly confident in the areas of imaging, colour psychology, the relationship between word and image, pictography, and concept building.

On a practical level, I am proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and Microsoft applications, as well as having experience with Premiere Pro and Audition software.

I have always been passionate about design, working on exciting projects within University life as well as outside.

Previously I held a graphic designer position for Snap design and print in Sydney, and before this a freelance position for an advertising agency based in Cairns, Australia. Suasive is a dynamic group of marketing, advertising, media and production specialists. Previously I held the position of a pre-press assistant at a large format design and print company, where I prepare artwork from a variety of large clients for print. On more of a creative note, I recently held the position of Creative Director for Leeds University Science Magazine, have created an infographics project for the charity Computers 4 Africa, and completed a sparse branding project for a start-up property company, where I implemented my skills across a variety of mediums.

I pursued an understanding of visual language through a study dissertation and independent project, where I produced an experiment to gauge the effectiveness of a purely visual newspaper. This has allowed me to develop a strong work ethic and the ability to present design solutions to a professional standard, whilst thinking critically on short turnaround problems. Aside from this, I have taken time to study the role of design in business and the tools, techniques and approaches to managing design. Read Less
