I decided to take work experience in product design to get a better professional insight into how a design consultancy works and what might occur in the design industry. I found it very interesting and has helped my experience hugely, due to going to real client meeting with the designer and client and seeing what their thoughts are. Cambridge Industrial Design (CID) also allowed me to get more and technical techniques on SolidWorks that has helped me so far at University. My work experience lasted for 7 days, where I worked with the chief designer on designing a new camera tripod for an American photography company.

I studied at The John Henry Newman sixth form, where I studied for my A-Levels, which include Product Design, Fine Art and BTEC Double Award Business.

I went to Northumbria University where I studied the course Product Design Technology with Engineering and the Environment. It was a great course that had varies modules on different topics. These include engineering projects, products to be designed that have considered the environment, materials and manufacture, projects working with real clients and electronic projects.
