I like various materials and their interaction. I am interested in different surfaces, the attraction and repulsion. I also have a liking for the unintentional - when materials keep working on my pictures after I stop interfering. Not knowing exactly what is going to happen on paper or on canvas is exciting. I use simple elements and work quickly. I am also attracted to continuity, series, movement, and the infiniteness and extension of paintings on the wall.
