Teen Survey Booklet

In late 2008, Cork City Library's Young Adult's Department conducted a survey of teenagers in the locality, with the aim of determining their opinions on:

- New library building design
- Improvement of existing facilities
- Creation of new programmes
- Marketing and promotion
- Barriers to use of existing facilities

The 16-question survey was distributed to groups of teenagers city-wide. Once the results had been collated, I was recruited to design and illustrate a booklet presenting the results in an interesting and straightforward manner.

The result was this 22-page, monochromatic booklet.

A project initiated by Children's Books Ireland, who enlisted the kids of Trim Library's Book Club, with the help of author Conor Kostick, to draft a charter of Reader's Rights.

I was brought on board as illustrator & designer to complete the project, resulting in this full-colour, A3 poster.

The poster was launched by Norma McDermott, Director of the Library Council, in Trim Library on 23 September, and was subsequently delivered to bookshops, schools and libraries nationwide.
