Hector Christiaen is what might be called a traveler-photographer. He lives in Geneva, but is regularly sailing to other horizons. He takes photos with a single constant: simply show people in their daily activities and make them, through his photographs, the anonymous actors of the ritual that makes their days.

Hector did not stop taking shortcuts that led him to sunny countries: Portugal, Greek Islands before the touristic fastfood ... And as if his bulimia for travels was so strong, he has time and again now covered a large part of the South-East to meet and photograph their inhabitants amid their daily environment.
And from train to train, plane to plane, dreams to reality, Hector Christiaen is walking the earth. Travel, travel. What leads him? His love of departures, the joy of going back home to his loved ones? Or is it the passion for photography that has revealed his desire to leave, always leave, and still discover.
The man knows when to stop and go back to the Lake, the streets of Geneva for a series of photos in situ, but always keeping in mind some new destinations to reach.
