Portraits - tableau

These are just a few samples of my portraiture. Most people are artists of some kind; musicians, actors, designers, illustrators, authors, each shown here to share a piece of who they are. Each of these images has been published along side stories so if you like them please google the names to learn more about the people. People are facinating.

Design WIthin Reach - part II - WORK IN PROGRESS

This is part II of my Design WIthin Reach series - and it is WORK IN PROGRESS. Looking for feedback on the 'shutter effect I have done here'. There are many more pics so these would not be it.

Design Within Reach series - (IN PROGRESS)

These are a couple pics from a project that is in progress. Each of the lights will sit on the models head... 'Headlights'. I am putting up a few other pics from the other series that go along with this set.

The full series of three sets is for exhibition at Design Within Reach in Milwaukee scheduled for a July showing.

I am experimenting with some things and really can use helpful ideas for this project.

If there any great designers out there who want to collaborate, then please tell me what you're interested in. I own these images and the sky is the limit!

Sincerely,
Christine

Elegance Untamed

Elegance Untamed is a print spread, working with permission of the Milwaukee Public Museum, that uses some of the first animal dioramas ever made in the United States. The scenes act as the backdrops for an editorial fashion spread thus also act as a bridge between popular culture and the natural history museum. This project is one example of how natural history museums may improve dwindling attendance, modernize, and entice a younger audience to visit, through collaboration with artists and media.
