Looking through the lens of a camera gave me a whole outlook on life. It made the world a more interesting and beautiful place. With a camera, you can capture the way light shines through someone's hair, the way you can turn something you find beautiful into a photograph for other people to see, as well as using your images as a way to convey ideas. I love the feeling when your photograph comes out exactly like or even better then you wanted. I create my art so I can show other people the world through my eyes. I'm also terrible with words, so my art gives me a way to express my thoughts and communicate ideas with others in the easiest way I find possible. Until I started college I was self taught. I really appreciate the guidance I am receiving, and take every day as another chance to improve my skills. I work primarily with digital photography, but I have begun to venture in to black and white film. I am currently studying at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI and anticipate graduation in 2016 with a BFA. Eventually, I would like to shoot for a magazine which would allow me to travel and photograph events in just beautiful places all over the world for everyone to see. Until, then I plan on continuing improving my skills as well as travel as much as possible to produce a well rounded array of work.
