Collagist Group Exhibition

Fallacies draws on the notion of the Absurd. The paradox: We live in an indifferent universe yet feel that our lives have great significance. Out of our feeling of emptiness/apathy comes an appetite for escape. yearning for a Utopia. a No-where place. a Fallacy.

Thought Traffic Exhibition

These sketches act as an extended memory for me. They are reminders of ideas that would otherwise be lost in the day to day rush. Anything relevant to my aesthetic interest is recorded by these sketches. Mostly they are jotted down very quickly with common office supplies (ballpoint, colour marker, etc.) and expanded on later. I find inspiration when i am not conciously trying to come up with ideas. I value free improvised ideas over and above those that are forced and contrived.
