Working closely with a small team of software engineers to ensure the product is both functional and beautiful with an emphasis on user experience. As one of three Creative Directors at Europe’s largest B2B design agency my role was to oversee the entire creative process from brand guardianship, team management and production, whilst maintaining creative excellence across all deliverables. Gyro built it’s reputation servicing technology clients so when the technology crash happened it became my responsibility to advise approach and pitch to new industry sectors, successfully building a sustainable client portfolio.

A London based design consultancy. My philosophy was to create a workspace that was inspirational, thoughtful and fun. The work reflected this. The staff grew tenfold in two years. Preferred supplier to many public sector, private sector and blue chip companies, it caught the attention of Gyro who purchased the company in 2000, appointing me as Creative Director and stockholder.

Under my direction the design studio was transformed from a bolt on to the company's print facility, into the major profit centre for the group. Focusing on two main sectors, the public sector, and the property market. As part of my remit at Graphic Impressions I was responsible for the security of all the client data, including white papers for the DTI and the Serious Fraud Office. To facilitate this we created one of Europe's first straight to press systems with collaboration from the postscript developers at Adobe and the technical team at Agfa and Heidelberg.
