Breath suffocated by today’s blues
Swept up by life’s dirty brooms
Collected, discarded, done in over and over
Tabs in my veins keep me sober
Building a stronger foundation for when the tides gets high
Sand not washed away, blood, sweat, and cries into the daylight sky
Oh, precious lady give me your hand
Let’s take a bow and walk to distant lands
Today’s blues is a work from the heart
Oh girl, what you do to this harp
Fiddling in the room closed from me
Wondering how you got there- no key for me
Isn’t fun how we ride that rhythm
My girl is out of sight
Kiss me softly
Help me
