These images are the product of 2d projections in 3D space.
They evolved from surface pattern designs with a hint of depth.
The surface patterns I create result from the varying influences my architectural career awards me.
This series explores the influence of actual depth on surface implication of 2D depth. The result can be seen as individual, spiraling tower complexes fit together with less than puzzle-like precision that echoes a medieval notion of city.
