flanelle - home brand on demand

While completing Palazzo Orlandi, a thought came to mind about what was
needed: an individually designed and packaged home linens set. It was to
be a sort of “trousseau”, in the tradition of our grandmothers who took
their most treasured pieces with them when leaving home to create their
new lives with their families.

Thus was born Flanelle, Sabrina Bignami's new brand (with Marco Badiani e Andrea Balloni)�a response to the
demand for custom designed home linens. Flanelle offers handmade
solutions with a contemporary twist. Because its products are tailor
made, each created in response to individual client's needs, the company
will not utilize traditional sales routes. It is an “on demand” service
that satisfies all requests�from home linens to coordinated sets for
hotels and restaurants.

Collections will be made from vintage fabrics (tweed, herringbone and
flannel), old clothes, pieces of fabric, mattresses and bedspreads that
will return to life with each new creation. An ancient art becomes new
again through an ecologically friendly project ideal for the home of the
future.
