i have to agree with eggtea...but there is a solution. if the gear location u have right now on both wheels had the same device on the exact opposite side of the rim or tire with a bar running across holding the gear in place then it would work great! see in the fron wheel you would have a bar going vertical and on the back wheel you would have a bar going horizontal and if anything it would make the bike LOOK like the tires arent turning as it rides. i hope i am making sense if not ill show you.
Cool concept I don't think the weight would be distributed equally, it would put a lot of strain on the contact points between the wheel and the frame. sweet starting point though. :D
nice aesthetics, but you could never build a bike like this: wheels will broke at the first hole on the street, or disttort in curves. pivot point (where you put the pedals) is too weak, and seat tube too. it will work only with a 30 kilograms rider on a plain and straight track :-)
product design is not only aesthetics...
