"Helt Vitt" fictional campaign
Helt Vitt ("Completely White") was a fictional campaign that me, Filip Sigholm, Christoffer Zaar Brodow and Torstein Rolstad created. It's purpose was to remind people to keep the streets clean. Our main idea was that an increased amount of trash cans would help people keep clean, because in a Swedish survey from 2007 it said that 50 % of all who litter do it because there isn't any trash can around.
Our target group was people beween 13 and 18 and therefore we chose to do a kind of guerilla campaign where the target group could vote on where they wanted more trash cans, and these would have a different appearance, Completely White.
There would be placed tags all around town with the logo and an ID number which you could text message to a certain number to place your vote. Or you could go to the campaign site and choose on a city map which place you wanted to vote for another trash can. The spots with the most votes each week would get a trash can.
You could also buy or win clothing and other products with the campaign logo on it. Scarves, caps, t-shirts, hoodies, etc.
The campaign starts around Mars and ends in the middle of the summer with a big festival for three days with Swedish artists who support the cause and are popular with the target group. The hosts at the festival would be Fredrik & Filip, two very popular show hosts right now, and they would also be in the commercial and the instruction video at the campaign site.
