Wedding invitation in a tin can which after the ceremony is attached at the back of the newly married couple’s car.
It is accustomed, after the wedding ceremony, for friends and relatives of the couple to bang saucepans and bells in order to make noise and send away the jealous spirits.
The wedding invitation is packaged inside a tin can with a string.
Τhe invitation’s text containing the details (date, place etc) is accompanied by an illustration which explains how to tie the string at the back of the can and subsequently the overall construction at the back of the car.

Πρόσκληση γάμου σε αλουμινένιο κουτάκι, το οποίο μετά την τελετή τοποθετείται στον προφυλακτήρα του αυτοκινήτου των νεόνυμφων.
Με την ολοκλήρωση του μυστηρίου, παραδοσιακά συνηθιζόταν οι συγγενείς και οι φίλοι να χτυπούν κατσαρολικά και καμπάνες κάνοντας θόρυβο, ώστε να διώξουν τα ζηλόφθονα πνεύματα μακριά από το ζευγάρι.
Η πρόσκληση είναι τοποθετημένη μέσα στο κουτάκι, το οποίο περιέχει και ένα μικρό σκοινί.
Το κείμενο της πρόσκλησης με τις λεπτομέρειες (ημέρα, ώρα κλπ) συνοδεύεται από ένα σχέδιο που εξηγεί πώς να δέσεις το σκοινάκι στην άκρη του κουτιού και στη συνέχεια την όλη κατασκευή στο αυτοκίνητο.
