Shoghakat TV Company was founded in 1998 on the initiative of Abp.
Karekin Nersessian, Vicar General of the Araratian Pontifical Diocese
of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
The TV Company is established
to illustrate the activities of the dioceses and is also aimed at
promoting the preaching of Armenian Apostolic Church. Programs and
films produced by Shoghakat TV can be attained by other TV Companies
within Armenia, as well as by the dioceses functioning in Armenian
communities of Diaspora.
