Waavoo! is a blog about creative and technical things, with a large helping of zaniness on the side. The blog is published using WordPress.
When designing the template for Waavoo! I wanted to make sure that I captured the friendly and fun nature of the site. To do this I used a lot of curved lines, avoiding sharp edges wherever possible, and chose from a palette of pastel colours. The logo design mirrors these sensibilities.
From a technical point of view, Waavoo! is a CSS 2.1 & CSS3 design, additional functionality is provided by jQuery. Non standard font rendering is employed using SIFR.
