USAMI&RIUSAMI
Usami&Riusami is a product commissioned by L’Uomo Vogue, in collaboration with Yamamay.
7 designers were selected, and the aim was to design an eco-friendly and recyclable product for
the ‘Yamazonia - The Design and the Nature’ event, shown at Galleria Cardi in Milano during the
Furniture Fair 2008.
Usami&Riusami is a product that depending on how it is folded, it becomes a chair or a table.
Usami&Riusami comes from recycled-cardboard boxes trashed by shops, and fully re-recyclable
again.
All the products which were presented has been auctioned at Galleria Cardi during the Salone del
Mobile 2008 in Milano.
The total amount of money raised from the auction went entirely to the project Yamazonia by
Yamamay, in support of the rainforest.
