For the purposes of type classification broadly divide into seven major groups:

  • Serif Transitional
  • Serif Modern
  • Sans Humanist
  • Sans (Neo)Grotesque
  • Sans Geometric

I've chosen one of the best sans + sans serif fonts and super families as well, just to create an fluent transitions between serif and sans serif fonts.
