2008_TripOd
School project. Client: Mecaflor. Designed with E. DUGAL. Materials: polypropylene, rubber (cap).
We had to create a vase for sprigs of lily of the valley.
TripOd is a concept of vase which the shape and the main usage are based on the action of offering a present. Its legs, looking like lily of the valley leafs, are folded up towards the vase during the transport and the sale steps.
It is made of PP (polypropylene). This thermoplastic offer flexibility and recyclability. To meet the competing products we have developed a colorful array of both attractive and close to the flower color code.
A plastic bag is put in place during the preparation that helps protect the thrush, but also slightly close to the TripOd. When you put the bag away, a deployment of feet is automatically made by the memory of the injected plastic to obtain a freestanding small-sized vase.
