Trees for Travel plants trees all around the world to balance carbon emissions from both consumers and companies.

Objective: Increase brand awareness and stimulate people to compensate their CO2 emissions with Trees for Travel.

The campaign is based on the idea that people are willing to compensate their CO2 emission but don't know what's the most efficient way to do so. Each example shows an individual that is obviously doing something rather inconvenient to reduce his or her carbon footprint. Trees for Travel tells them there is a more simple solution.

The campaign was launched nationwide in The Netherlands during january 2008 on national television (RTL), national radio(radio538) and 2000 billboards across the country.
 
TV commercial.
A woman is telling about the skydiving hobby of her husband. Nowadays instead of jumping out of planes he jumps of roofs to reduce his carbon footprint. Unfortunately not everything goes as planned.

Radio 1.
We overhear an interview between an elderly women and a poll-taker about her energy consumption. Apparently, the older woman saves energy in very odd ways, like taking her St. Bernhard in bed to keep herself warm.
 
Radio 2.
We overhear a discussion between the emergency room and the ambulance staff about a patient that needs transportation. He doesn't want to be moved with a polluting car.
