Project ToolsProject Info
A project exploring how the landscapes that we live in are sculpted throughout time. Through an exploration of photographing water and studying of the works of Artists such as David Fried and Joan Fontcuberta, a link between the formation of water on a window surface and the formation of landscape throughout Dartmoor has been made. Just as water droplets rely on many different factors to fall as they do; temperature, amount of water, imperfections in the glass etc, so does the way in which landscapes are formed, only on a much larger scale. This link and resulting ‘hazy’ images is intended to encourage an audience to consider the way our planet looks and why, and to consider the past, present and future of the landscapes.

This piece was developed as my final University project.

great work - funny how viewing landscape in this way seems so familiar, ie. through a car window.
