Time
Title: Time
Dimensions: 8.5’’ wide 2’’ deep 11.5’’ tall
Medium: Balsa foam, acrylic, clock mechanism
Objective:
Form a relief carving using a piece of Balsa Foam
Concept: A warped clock with gears exposed
Date of Completion: December 17, 2007

I started by cutting out the outer shape with a scroll saw, then used a dremel tool to take out 3/4 inches of the balsa foam, then used clay carving tools for the detail.
A Time of Reflection
Gazing through the looking glass of past years
The river of hope often runs parched.
However, hope is often hidden under life’s pebbles.
Looking around at the peace and tranquility of that river of hope
I now see what is hidden under those pebbles
I now see the future
But that future is ours to control
And ours to either create, or destroy
The Future is ours
Be ready.
