A Short Poem

A Time of Reflection

Gazing through the looking glass of past years

The river of hope often runs parched.

However, hope is often hidden under life’s pebbles.

Looking around at the peace and tranquility of that river of hope

I now see what is hidden under those pebbles

I now see the future

But that future is ours to control

And ours to either create, or destroy

The Future is ours

Be ready.
