Fields:  Design, Branding, Television
In my first semester of third year, we were required to come up with any TV channel of our liking, and brand it.

I chose to brand a slightly unconventional kids fantasy channel.  It's motto was to provide kids with a completely un-commercialised world of visually and cognitively stimulating programmes, made with love by it's respective creators. Such programmes would be "Where the Wild things are", "Alice in Wonderland", "The Moomins", "Hairy McClairy", "My Neighbour Totoro" and many more along those lines.

The "slightly unconventional" name that I chose to represent the channels motto. was "The Very Likely Channel", it's tag line being "where anything is possible".  Basically the epitome of being a child.

Thank you very much Charlotte ^_^ That's exactly the feeling I hoped to achieve. I'm of the sentiment that people don't really like all those terrible, artificial programmes and channels we are given, but it's all we have, so we take it. We are left unsatisfied, and companies are stuck in a rut of believing that popularity = satisfying customers needs, when really we take it because its the best available. I wanted to create a channel that people could be proud to associate with. Your comment reflects that purpose, so thank you :)

The ideas for programme content are amazing - I would so let my kids tune in. I love the name and the identity - so refreshing not to see the normal "kiddy" colours. There is a whole new wave of parents and cool kids who are looking for something that better reflects their tastes and interests. Good job!
