Inksurge was commissioned this year to conceptualize, design and brand the Ateneo Art Awards 2009 - The Next Wave. Inspired by infographics and junk charts, the visual representations are gathered from gallery data and surveys.
The art scene has been undulating from past through present, riding out every crest. Truly, the smallest of ripples - a change in media, a new design trend,, a shift in gender demographics or economic relationships - could send the biggest of tides hurtling towards the future.
Look at the numbers. The Next Wave is coming.
