For the past two years, I've been a designer on the team that produces practically all of the various materials that the company requires throughout the year (including educational brochures, calendars, catalogues and publications, ads, banners, signage, special event invites, posters and more). I've been fortunate to work closely with Carmen Dunjko (founder of Pod 10 Art+Design) who rebranded The National Ballet a few years ago and continues to make the company visible nationally and internationally.
Shown here is a small sampling of the various projects I've been involved with (you'll see several examples of 'Ballet Notes' below, this has definitely been my favourite on-going project with the Ballet; bringing together the story behind a particular ballet, the choreographer's insights and hunting through archival images).
We've worked with many talented photographers, whose images we've had the pleasure to use throughout these pieces. Be sure to catch a National Ballet of Canada performance if you're ever in Toronto!
