The Adventures of Vito & Nada

Interactive educational CD-ROM

// art directing, photography

The Adventures of Vito and Nada is the latest educational project of the Museum of Contemporary Art, created as part of the teaching activities of the Richter Collection. The entire creative works of Vjenceslav Richter, one of the most influential Croatian artists of the 1950s and 1960s is presented in the one-storey villa at the address Vrhovac 38, known today as the Collection of Vjenceslav Richter and Nada Kareš Richter. The project was developed in cooperation with children, artists and the MSU curators. From the beginning, children were invited to take part in the project. Vito and Nada, the main characters, named after Richter's sculptures, were created by pupil Eva Kovač, whose drawings were selected. The visual approach for the interactive game was also created by children on the workshops. It was their wish to introduce the Richter Collection to primary school children through play.

The concept author is Vesna Meštrić, the author of script and assignments is Jelena Bračun and the author of the illustrations is Mirela Ivanković Bielen. I worked on the concept of the cd-rom and did the art direction of the project, design was done by Hrvoje Bielen. Flash development and interactions were done by Gorjan Agačević and Luka Jendrašić. Music was done by Marko Mihalinec and Bojan Šalamon. Model for the hands was Sara Ester Gredelj.
