"The Night of..."
This project started off as a packaging project while I was a student at Portfolio Center. We were given a set of products to choose from and I chose Cohiba Cigars. The idea behind my product was that it is a limited edition Cohiba cigar that would be introduced to the world after the drop of the embargo on Cuba. It was named "Libertad 97" in honor of the brave souls that risked their lives to reach the US coast of make shift boats from Cuba.
This became one of my favorite projects, so I have continued experimenting with the illustrations and the concept even further. I have to take he illustrations and make them
intoa poster series which I will screen print. "The Night of..." is the first poster of the series.
