Some of my tee design contest submissions.

My first entry at Threadless.com called Polite Turds Don't Leave Marks. Result was BOO for POO.

Had the idea when I watched my poo get flushed down the toilet. I reckoned it was nice that it left no marks. Nice for the next user. Always found it disturbing to enter a restroom with skid marks in the toilet. Experienced it a few times at work when my boss goes in after drinking his morning coffee.

This one is called Emotional Wreck. Submitted at Threadless.com on June 19, 2009. The sad sop scored higher than the polite turds. I wish I had placed him on a onesie instead.

Thought about the text first before the bunny. Always found it amusing that some tee prints get other people emotionally charged. Not just happy; some can get really upset over a shirt that they're not wearing.

You'll see my cry baby is still crying over here:

For the YYY TTT Shirt Jam-O-Rama shirt hunt.

The band will be choosing the winner on July 22, 2009. I have it bad for their music that I was actually designing this before I even learned of their contest. If this tee gets chosen, I get autographed booty from the band. No money. Yippee! I can be pathetic like that as well.

I just couldn't resist placing that line under the tuning-fork-YYY-caricature (my favorite in their Show Your Bones album). Probably an irrelevant detail for this tee hunt but still submitted it.

Submitted this at SocialDesigner.com for their UNESCO / Tribute 21 Dreams Centers contest.

Contest Title: Favorite Moment.

My favorite moment was when our 11-year old dog found her way back home after missing for 24 hours. Dad drove around the neighborhood twice in the morning and at night. We thought she'd gone for good. I was in school when dad texted me saying she came back: tired, thirsty and limping. Made stone-faced dad cry and I was so happy when I got home.

Submitted July 13, 2009. I call the piece Eeger & Seeker. It's still open for "faving".
