Tea package (concept). A precious diamond needs a precious frame

Design Purpose

Thedesign is intended for making a new type of tea package in the segment ofpremium teaThedesign is used for storing tea, making tea, and for recycling the used tea
Design description

Design structure:housing (1) having a pocket (5) for storing the bag (4);door (2), overlapping the pocket (5) of the housing (1);
a "sleeve" made of foil (3), combining (locking) the door (2)and the housing (1) and sealing the notch  (5);
the tea bag (4) made of punched foil or nylon, beingarticulated to the housing (1);
The "Key" with rotary roller - knife.
Operation

Storing the tea

The tea is stored tillthe moment of its use in the vessel formed by the door and the housingfastened together by a sleeve made of foil. The sleeve seals the vessel with tea.
Use

Using the "Key" we arecutting the sleeve while pressing the foil through the groove formed byfacets of the door and the housing.
After cutting the sleevewe are overturning the door. Thus the door and the housing form a newclean surface parallel to the bottom surface of the housing.
While holding the door,we are overturning the device and we are covering the hot water cupwith the new surface, thus the tea bag hinged to the housing under theaction of its own weight leaves the vessel (recess) and is submerged inhot water.
When heating the coverthe heat indicator gets warm and changes its color. Change of color ofthe heat indicator testifies the readiness of tea.
After …

After tea is made, we raise and overturn the cover to its home position.
Thus the bag with its superfluous moisture comes back into the vessel, and the door closes the vessel.
Exemplary embodiment Water

Whenmaking the tea the water and its preparation are not less important than thedry tea. «Spafary,Russian traveler in XVII century, marked with surprise that in Beijing the water for tea was being sold inthe market, and for a rather high price, at the level of other food stuffs. Payingexclusively high attention to correct tea brewing and quality of the tincture,the Chinese were specially delivering soft water to the capital city fromdistant mountain springs. Namely the spring water is considered to be the bestfor brewing the tea.» V.V.Pokhlyobkin: Tea, its history, properties and use Boiling the water

«Boilingthe water is a complex process consisting of three clearly distinguishablestages.The first stage begins withemerging small air bubbles from the teapot bottom and appearance of groups ofair bubbles on the water surface near the teapot walls. Then the number of airbubbles arising in water and rushing up to the surface gradually increases.At the second stage ofboiling there is a mass rushing of air bubbles causing a slight turbidity withfurther water whitening, reminding the rapid spring water flow. It is theso-called “white spring”. It is a very short stage that is soon followed by thethird stage - intense water swirling, emerging of large bursting air bubbles onthe surface, and then splashing. The splashes mean that water is stronglyoverboiled.»«You should not overboil thewater for brewing the tea. The overboiled water spoils the tea, making thewater hard thus the drink becomes thin, impoverished, not to say that the teaaroma almost completely disappears.» «For brewing the tea it isnecessary to take water in the middle of boiling process when it is boiling asa «white spring», i.e. in the beginning of the second stage of boiling.»V.V. Pokhlyobkin: Tea, its history, properties and use
The device for preparing the water for tea.
The support is placed ona table. In the support seats there are: the best water in a bottle formaking tea, two empty cups, a key for opening the tea package being atthe same time the controller of heaters and cooler.
The support contains twoheaters (seats for cups), a Peltier cooler (a seat for the waterbottle), an electrical connector (under the key), as well as avibration sensor and a audio indicator (peeper) of readiness of water.A microcontroller ensures the functioning and interaction of the devicecomponents.
Key
The key has two functions: А) opening the tea package; B) Serving as an interactive interface of the support.
Design: 1, 3 - brush assembly, 2 - knife - roller, 4 - spring, 5 - contact, 6 - shaft of the electric motor fixed inside the key case, 7 - electric motor.
If we want todrink some cooled water instead of tea simply we are just pouring it from thebottle in a cup and we drink. The water is cooled using the Peltier elementlocated under the bottle bottom. If we want to drink tea we take the key fromthe support and we open the tea package, we put the key on the support and weturn the key roller with a pointer to the mark on the support corresponding tothe cup (or cups) where we are going to boil water. We pour from the bottle thewater in that cup (or cups), thus starting the process of water heating. Wewait for boiling the water while acquainting with the open tea.

After the water is boiled the sensor adjusted to certain frequency ofvibrations corresponding to the "white spring" boiling turns off theheater and sends a command for the sound signal meaning that the water isready, after that the key roller comes back in its starting position.
This way for heating the water in a cup provides us with controllable heatingof water to the necessary standard and also warms up the brewing container(thus it is not necessary to spend hot water for warming it up).
Advantages

Storingthe teaА) The design keeps the initial tea aroma.·        The package is designed for oneportion of tea. The portion of tea is tightly packed into a container betweenthe basis and the cover of the package. Thus the penetration of extraneoussmells, and excess moisture in the tea is prevented. ·        The design uses materialstraditionally considered compatible with the tea: ceramics and metal foil. Thepackage do not use the materials negatively influencing the properties of teasuch as glue, plastic, paper, etc. Brewingthe tea А) The design provides the best tea taste andaroma.·       The heat indicator on the packageprecisely informs on the tea readiness. ·        When making the tea the bag is inthe upper hot water layers thus providing for the best tea brewing.·        The design has a function of coverslowing down the water cooling.·        Under influence of hot water, thepackage materials do not emit extraneous smells and substances.B)The design returns the aesthetics of modern tea ceremony.·        Opening the package with a key looksaesthetically and does not make waste products.·        The design of tea package allowsmaking manipulations with the tea bag imperceptible.·        The used bag is being placedimperceptibly in the leak-proof container.·        The quality of design and theimprinted picture cause pleasant sensations and associations.·        Keeping modern accelerated liferhythms, the consumer gets an opportunity to feel the harmony of taste.
