HELLOVON AT ESPEIS GALLERY - NEW YORK SOLO SHOW

20th October - 18th November 2007

Opening Night: October 20th 7pm.

Stop motion animation of the creation of A0 original drawing.

Pencil and Graphite on 400 gsm.

"Espeis Gallery is pleased to present a series of large-scale original drawings, and smaller-scale limited prints by London-based artist, Hellovon. New Yorkers have been graced with Hellovon’s immaculate illustrations of political figures and others in the New York Times Sunday magazine. For the first time, his large scale, original work will be presented in NYC in its original state. Hellovon’s body of work can be perhaps best described as a seamless blend of traditional and digital marks. Heavily influenced by music and fashion, Von produces subtle narratives with a delicate, ethereal quality.

Since establishing Hellovon at the start of 2006, his work has been exhibited internationally and is now on permanent exhibition at Both StolenSpace and Cosh galleries in London.

A very special and very limited collaborative print between Hellovon and Non-Format will be for sale on the opening night only."
