The TAP Project was started in NY as a benefit to Unicef. Restaurant patrons donated $1 for each glass of tap water for a week. After a first successful year in NY the program expanded across the country. This design was meant to be for Richmond's TAP Week. Due to time constraints it was not selected. 
 
My first shot. They needed a logo fast, so I turned this around in a couple hours. It was just an experiment.

Working more here with movement and the feeling I wanted to get out of the logo. Again, another experiment.

Since Richmond has a river that runs next to it I was playing around with movement of lines and how that would interact with the logo.
