Detail of front. My buddy saw an alcoholic flyer-distributor guy just like this on 6th Av one day. I relocated his place of business to 43rd St, where my dad used to live. I like the rat reaching for the mercenary's bucket of chicken (from Chik's, where our hero works). And the pigeon about to unload on our hero. And the fact that E-Z Cash will loan you money for your chicken suit.

I pulled this guy from the front of the b&w subway shirt, and gave him a solo career. He owes his look to Tor, the lead singer of Joker Five Speed. They were one of my favorite NYC rock and roll bands way back when.

Another guy pulled from the front of the b&w subway t-shirt. Motor City was a great rock and roll bar on Ludlow St, way back when. I guess it's still there, but the last time I stopped by it had changed along with the rest of the neighborhood.
