The Sophia fragrance and gift set represents a
personality and designer, whose character description inspires
adjectives like “precise,” “honest,” and “elegant.” The logotype and
packaging were created with those words in mind. Sophia, the woman who
lends her name to the fragrance, also happens to be a graphic designer
whose design philosophy is based on creating new things from otherwise
ordinary items. The use of lead type characters as inspiration for the
bottle design and the antique type case for the gift set were the
perfect packaging solutions. This refined mark and packaging
well-frames a product that both represents its source while targeting a
similarly defined consumer: sophisticated, classic, and feminine.
