Some Type Of Wonderful 2010

This is a teaser poster for the upcoming Some Type Of Wonderful 2010 exhibitions to be held this October. The project will feature typographic works from some of the world's most talented artists and designers including the likes of Jonathan Zawada (AUS), Mario Hugo(USA), Luca Barcellona(ITA), Maxwell Lord(RUS), PMKFA(SWE), Théo Gennitsakis(FRA), Jessica Hische(USA), Pablo Alfieri(ARG), Sebastian Lester(UK), Siggi Eggertsson(ICE), Jiro Bevis(UK) and Gary Taxali (CAN). 

For this poster design and type treatment I liked the idea of the artwork being semi sci-fi inspired and as kind of epic as this year's lineup. It's sort of like a type meteor / UFO. Anyway, I was quite happy with my yp ligature in this treatment as the tails were doing my head in for a while there.
