this series is some kind of mental game. No precise goal, nothing to express, just emptying my brain and trying to find forms and shapes. What came up were abstract Signs. At the time I was reading a monography of Pierre Soulages and I guess I was influenced by his words, notably his love for the black color (that I share), and the fact that Black can produce light.
The use of collage and photography here is important to me because it is a way to produce pieces that are cut from time, with no begining and no end. it is a mental image and not a movement.
