Assignment:

Box Painting

Take an empty shoe box lined with white paper. Cut a circle in the shoe box; let each fellow student make a splash mark in your shoe box. Open the shoe box and find a composition with the help of a view finder. Enlarge the composition on your sheet and name the painting relevantly.

Transparent layering

Choose and theme and gather photographs of your family. Make a composition of these pictures and use text where necessary. After the composition is done make acetate copies of it and layer at least 3 acetate sheets together. Use paint to enhance specific areas of your composition.

Assignment

Repetition

Choose a complete photograph of a person or an object and repeat it on your sheet to make an interesting composition. The photograph can be repeated with variation, such as variation in size, color and medium used.
