The paper industry is the lifeblood of the print designer, as they supply the medium for their ideas. However the price we pay as a society for their creative work is the contamination of our basic life necessities: biodiversity, clean water and fresh air (taken from design canchange.com) . These emerging and important problems will force the graphic designer to face new design criteria. This new standard will be guided by the principles of sustinability.
This swatch book features work from renown graphic designers that employ sustainable methods on their work while retaining complete creative control, demystifying the stereotype that by producing environmentally friendly work one compromises quality. Each swatch book also contains a set of post it notes, that contain tips on how to improve ones ecological footprint through our work as graphic designers
Please note that all the images featured in the booklets belong and are intellectual property of each of the artists featured in the books
