I was approached to design the brand identity for a London-based Music Production company called Run Music.
My approach was based on an initial discussion I had witht the client in which I asked him what made him different from other Music Production companies in London. To which he said it was the energy he put into his work and the focus he puts on the artists that he represents in various genres of music worldwide.
I choose to display this energy and dynamism through multiple strokes and paths that expressed a sense of movement and progression. As he writes the music press releases for the artists he represents, I also wanted to express a elegant handwriting movement to the appearance of strokes used in the piece. Shown here are various studies which lead to the final solution for the brand identity which is shown here in the last image.
