Rock Slug (Zuras Tectonicus)

This species inhabits warm and damp places. Well… “inhabits” is a bit exaggerated, as the Rock Slug is constantly in motion, in search for places where the rainy season’s just set in. Yet, due to his low movement rate, by the time this creature reaches his destination, the rainy season’s already over, and replaced by dry weather. This way, even though our beloved Rock Slug prefers humid environment, he is always left high and dry. Furthermore, he’s believed to be a complete loser.

According to many, the Rock Slug is a distant ancestor of the present-day horse. Unfortunately some recently uncovered vertebrae that once belonged to the species in question might refute this otherwise sound theory.

The Rock Slug feeds on dragons. Usually, however, he cannot catch them due to the fact that they are a thousand times faster than him. So, most of the time, the Rock Slug is literally starving or is briefly satiating his hunger with juniper leaves, which he otherwise despises so much. Being a tough-cookie helps him go through the hardships of life.

The Rock Slug never looks for females, as they usually come to him at their own free will.

The Rock Slug is a well-known vermin who rents his house for money. What’s more interesting in his case is that he’s a slug, and slugs don’t really have houses. So his tenants are forced to make their own shelters, but still required to pay rent. One way to describe him " the Rock Slug is nothing but a Rascal.
