La Tomatina takes place in, hmm perhaps takes over may be more suitable...whichever it does it does it in the sleepy town of Bunól, 40km outside of Valencia,Spain. Rumours have it that it began as a impromptu food fight at a street market and grew and grew.Between 20,000 and 50,000 people gather in Bunól(or so wikipedia tells me, lots anyhoe) to partake in a beautiful mixture of chaos and madness. Here are 10 of those people.
