Fields:  FX, Digital Composing
Last year I made some tests with the "Composite Nodes" built in Blender to show and teach (and learn to!) my students some techniques concerning pure image compositing using Nodes. Searching the web I find some cool sites that have stock footage for free use. One is the "internet archive" and the other is "detonation films". Its perfect for tests and educational use, and the internet archive even have some HD videos.
For this Trash FX test I use only Blender Composite Nodes and these two videos:
Pumpkin - http://www.archive.org/details/IMB_SF_R38_C8
Fire (SkyFire02) - http://www.detonationfilms.com/free_stuff.htm

You Can also download the ".blend" file in this page: http://filsd.deviantart.com/art/Pumpkin-Burning-eyes-Files-77094396

Thanks for the guys of Detonation Films and the Internet Archive!

C&C are welcome.
