This illustration is made for an upcoming exibition in 'Huis van het Beeld / Maison de l'Image' in Brussels. About 70 illustrators were asked to make there tribute to the french filmmaker Jaques Tati and to his personage Monsieur Hulot or Postman François. This is my contribution.

Figures in environment. As finishing touch I scanned a texture that I painted with watercolor and layed it on top of it, to give it a more painterly, less clean look.
