Pineapple is historically based in the Art Deco period (1920s/30s) but set adrift for awhile and spiced with the rum of the present. Pineapple is suitable for many uses, but has an affinity for being juxtaposed with unfamiliar contexts such as art, fashion, and literature. Pineapple features many alternates and a few ligatures for such characters as MA, AW, AV, and tt. Pineapple is an Open Type font so implementing these features is effortless. Just like being on a Hawaiian beach.
