Phone for active users

Unique features. My product offers unique features for the target consumer. The phone has integrated a 3D motion sensor that measures the distance and velocity. It also has a system that monitories the heart beat rate and gives warnings when the heart beat rate is reaching a critical level. A stop watch is also integrated and a system that measures the number of calories burnt during exercises and helps the user keep under control the daily amount of calories recommended, because for people doing sports nutrition is also a very important aspect. Other important characteristics are that the phone is water proof and shock resistant.
Wearable. The phone I designed is made of flexible rubber and has the shape of a wristband, so it has a familiar shape but also the flexibility of a wristband that is usually made out of fabric. The phone is flexible enough to wear it at any level on the arm, depending on user’s preferences and needs. The phone can easily be pulled down from the arm and held in the hand, this way not losing the ear to mouth connection during a phone call.
Innovative display. The display is just one millimeter thick, while being more light weight and durable than its glass predecessors. The display is made by applying a thin film of electrodes to plastic that causes the screen to emit light. Such polymers are applied to the display screen in this mobile phone. Also being thin and flexible is easy to update with new information.
Alternative source of energy. Having integrated these unique features combined to the more conventional features like mp3 player and camera the life of the battery could be a problem. To avoid any inconvenience caused by short battery life the phone has in addition to the classical charger another incorporated charger that powers it by harnessing the kinetic energy of the body and since the user is an active person there is no point in wasting all that energy.
